Balikpapan, March 3, 2025 — PT Pahala Globalindo Energi (PGE) has achieved a significant milestone by successfully completing its first shipment of 450,000 liters of B40 biodiesel from the Interport Fuel Terminal (IFT) in Kariangau to Teluk Adang.
This operation represents a concrete step in Interport’s ongoing commitment to providing sustainable energy solutions in Indonesia. B40 biodiesel — a blend of biofuel and conventional diesel — is recognized as a cleaner alternative that reduces carbon emissions and supports the nation’s transition toward renewable energy.
“The successful completion of this inaugural shipment is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team, as well as our steadfast commitment to contributing to Indonesia’s national energy sustainability goals,” said a representative of PGE’s management.
The Interport Fuel Terminal (IFT) played a crucial role in this achievement. Equipped with modern facilities and advanced fuel-handling systems, IFT ensures that every stage of the process — from storage to distribution — is carried out efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
The company extended its appreciation to all teams involved in the operation — from terminal management and logistics to fuel transportation — for their dedication and professionalism. Through this accomplishment, PGE reaffirm their commitment to continuous innovation and to expanding their contribution to the development of clean and sustainable energy in Indonesia.
