Makassar, September 18, 2025 — PT Pahala Globalindo Energi (PGE), a subsidiary of PT Interport Mandiri Utama engaged in licensed fuel distribution as a Fuel Reseller, has achieved another significant milestone with the successful loading and shipment of 5,000 kiloliters (KL) of B40 biodiesel from Makassar via sea transportation.
This achievement underscores PGE and the Interport Group’s strong commitment to supporting Indonesia’s national energy transition program and the wider adoption of new and renewable energy (NRE), particularly in the transportation and industrial sectors.
B40 biodiesel—a blend consisting of 40% biofuel and 60% diesel—serves as a tangible solution to reduce carbon emissions while enhancing national energy security.
Throughout the loading and shipment process, PGE demonstrated high operational readiness, ensuring strict coordination across the supply chain, adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) standards, and rigorous quality control of the fuel prior to distribution. The loading operations were conducted from PGE’s storage facilities in Makassar, followed by maritime delivery to designated distribution points.
“This accomplishment reflects PGE’s consistency in carrying out its mandate as a trusted and professional fuel trading company committed to sustainability,” said a representative of PGE’s management. PGE hopes that this achievement will mark the beginning of more strategic deliveries in the future, in line with the growing demand for low-emission fuels across various regions of Indonesia.
